Nanoleaf Modular Light Panels
Introducing the Nanoleaf Light Panels - Rhythm Edition, a sound module that makes your Nanoleaf light panels dance to music. Add this upgrade module to your light panels and watch your music come to life.
You're in luck. Aurora, launched by Canadian smart-lighting startup Nanoleaf, is a set of smart LED panels designed to go on your wall. The panels are triangular (about 9″ on each side), and can be connected to basically make any shape or design you want.
About the Aurora
Nanoleaf's Aurora system is built around a number of linked LED light panels. Each panel is an equilateral triangle measuring about 9-3/4” (250mm) per side, with a thickness of 5/16” (8mm).
Originally called Nanoleaf Aurora and now known just as Nanoleaf Light Panels, the product comes in a nine-piece starter kit that can be expanded to include up to 30 panels. At full brightness, each panel consumes 2 watts of energy, as does the base unit that acts as their power supply.
50,000 hours would imply 5.7 years if the light is operated for 24 hours in a day, 7.6 years if the lights are on 18 hours per day and 11.4 years for 12 hours a day.
Those Alexa controls extend to both the Nanoleaf Aurora wall panels and the unique-looking Nanoleaf Ivy smart bulbs. Like the Aurora panels, they launched with Siri support but now offer Alexa controls as well. To use the new Alexa controls, you'll need to enable the Nanoleaf skill in the Alexa app.
